A retired investor formerly based in Belvedere, California and presently residing in Florida, Michael T. Jackson delivered consistently high returns for corporate and institutional investment clients through asset management firms he founded and directed. Before retiring and moving away from Belvedere, he established Emerging Growth Management, a pioneer hedge fund on the West Coast.
Currently, Michael T. Jackson spends his time developing philanthropic projects, the most recent of which is the Napa Medical Research Foundation, a nonprofit focused on investigating innovative treatments for musculoskeletal diseases.
Before establishing himself in business and philanthropy, Michael T. Jackson studied at the University of Virginia, where he earned his bachelor of science in finance. He obtained his master of business administration in finance from the University of Southern California and later, he graduated from the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
A devoted family man, he enjoys spending quality time with his children and grandchildren. His hobbies include reading, tennis and world travel.
